Canine Companions

Do you allow dogs?

Yes! We have four guest rooms that will accommodate one well-behaved canine companion or emotional support dog under 50 lbs. We ask that dogs be kept on leash in common areas and not left unattended in guest rooms. A one-time $125 dog fee is due at check in. Any unauthorized dogs are subject to a $250 nightly fee, To book a stay for you and your canine companion, please review our Dog Policy and give us a call: (805) 900-5224.

Stays & Deposits

All reservations require an accepted credit card (Visa, AmEx, MasterCard, Discover) at the time of booking. This card will be charged for your stay three (3) days PRIOR to your arrival date. For holidays and special event weeks described below, this card will be charged for your stay forty five (60) days PRIOR to your arrival date. Your card will also be authorized at check-in for incidentals at the rate of $100.00 per day. All other charges made to your room during your stay - including purchases at the lobby boutique, lobby beverage center, and in-room minibar, etc. - will also be charged to this card as the expenses are incurred. All outstanding charges will be charged to your card upon check-out. You may change the card on file with us at any time by visiting the front desk or calling us at (805) 900-5224.

Please note you must be 21 years of age or older to reserve a room. Guests under 21 years of age are not allowed, unless they are accompanied by an adult over 21 years of age.

Our guest room rates are subject to change.

Cancellations & Travel Changes

For cancellations made outside of 72 hours PRIOR to the day of your arrival, a full refund for the stay will be issued. Any cancellations made within 72 hours PRIOR to the day of your arrival will result in the forfeiture of your first nights stay. No-shows and early checkouts will not be refunded. Travel changes within 72 hours PRIOR to the day of your arrival will not be allowed.

Holidays, special event weeks and extended stay reservations have alternative cancellation policies. See cancellation rules below.

A 60-day cancellation policy applies to the following 2025/2026 dates:

  • August 29, 2025-September 1, 2025
  • December 26, 2025-January 2, 2026
  • May 22, 2026-May 25, 2026
  • June 12, 2026-June 15, 2026
  • June 27, 2026-July 6, 2026
  • September 4, 2026-September 7, 2026
  • December 26, 2026-January 4, 2027

Cancellations made at least 60 days PRIOR to 12:00 AM on your date of check in are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 60 days PRIOR to 12:00 AM on your date of check in are subject to the full cost of your stay.

For reservations made within the above cancellation periods payment in full will be due 60 days prior to the date of your arrival.

Extended stay reservations of five (5) nights or more have a 30 day cancellation period. Cancellations made at least 30 days PRIOR to 12:00 AM on your date of check in are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days PRIOR to 12:00 AM on your date of check in are subject to the full cost of your stay.

No-shows and early checkouts will not be refunded. Any changes of guest details with in the holiday and special event weeks will be subject to a $500.00 alteration fee.

Check-ins

We look forward to welcoming you between the hours of 3pm - 9pm. If you are planning to arrive after 9pm, please contact us ASAP, so we can provide after hours check-in information.

Check-outs

Check-out time is 11 am.

If late check out is available, a $75/hr late checkout fee will be charged per hour until 1 pm. After 1pm, 100% of the room rate will be charged.

Occupancy & Extra Guests

All king & queen rooms are maximum double (2) occupancy. All rooms with two queen beds have a maximum occupancy of four (4) persons. No extra guests are allowed above room occupancy. Any rooms with unauthorized guests above room occupancy will be subject to a $250.00 per night fee.

Mandatory Housekeeping service will be required every 3 days for extended stays or longer.

Smoking & Damage

For the consideration of our guests, all of our guestrooms and common spaces are smoke-free. If you or your guests choose to smoke in a guestroom, a $250 cleaning fee will be added to your bill. Additionally, if there is any considerable damage to your room during your stay, additional fees will be applied.

When you book online with us, our system keeps your card on file to cover any room damage, including missing items, excessive soiling, damage to furniture, linens, and other property. Damage will be assessed and communicated, then billed to the responsible guest at our replacement cost, which may include labor and installation costs.

Fire Pits & Common Space Etiquette

Hours for enjoyment: 8am - 9pm.

Quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am. During this time, we ask that you respect your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. If we have to repeatedly ask you to quiet down, we will then ask you to leave the property and no refund will be given.

We are not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen property.

Wetsuits, Beach Towels, Swimsuits, Coolers, Beach Toys, Personal Bicycle, Skateboard and Scooter Etiquette

Please do not hang beach towels, swimsuits or wetsuits on metal railings outside of guest rooms. Hooks are provided near the outdoor shower for drying and hanging wet items. Please store all beach toys, coolers and equipment in your personal vehicle or ask a Motel Guest Representative for an approved location.

All personal bicycles must be stored in the bike corral next to the bicycle shed. No personal bicycles may be stored in front of guest rooms or in motel bike rack at any times. Please ask a Motel Guest Representative if assistance is needed.

Absolutely NO SKATEBOARDS or SCOOTERS are allowed to be ridden on the property at anytime, This is to ensure the safety and respect of all property guests and staff.

Outside Food & Drinks

No guest room or patio cooking is permitted. A $250 fee will be applied to the credit card on file if unauthorized cooking takes place on our property.

Alcohol provided by outside sources or individuals is strictly prohibited on the property. To comply with liquor license requirements, the Hotel mandates that all alcoholic beverages must be provided by the Hotel. Accordingly, beverages will be opened and served exclusively by Hotel staff. This policy ensures the highest standards of quality and service are maintained, while also adhering to legal and regulatory requirements.

Security

We are not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen property.

Onsite parking is for The Pacific guests only. Please be mindful that our parking lot is uncovered and not secured. Please lock your doors and keep all valuables in a secured place.

Lost & Found

Should you leave belongings behind and request that we ship them to you, a minimum flat fee of $30 per parcel plus the cost of shipping and sales tax will be billed to the credit card on file.
